Also taken in the town of Marken in the Ijsselmeer. It used to be an island until they built a causeway, a raised road, so the town would be connected to the North Holland mainland. With less than 2,000 inhabitants, it's a charming little town full of historic wodden houses. On Sundays, some women still wear their traditional dresses. Spring '05
While travelling in France, mother and I visisted an old friend for a couple of days. Christine has the most beautiful house that she shares with her pet quartet. Her house was surrounded by flowering farming fields, rolling hills, lovely little towns and majestic castles. Summer '05
Taken in the town of Les Mans this past summer, I was walking by this old building when I saw this young girl finishing her flute lesson. By the time I got the camera, she was already putting her flute away. Either way, I really like the light and the shadows of window frame; and... she's a young flautist. Summer '05
