In Xalapa there is a very nice fruit shop where we often dropped by. The lady that works there was really confused but pleasantly surprised as to why I was taking pictures in her shop. I explained that I really loved the colours, which turned out really well even though it was dark inside. Winter '05

The First Sun

We got to Tajin very early in the morning, just as it was opening. It was enchanting to have this ancient city to ourselves,lit by the early morning sweet light. Here's Amanda, a couple of minutes after we had arrived. Winter '06

One Plus Four Dogs

During a day trip to a hidden beach along the coast of Veracruz, pap and I met about eight dogs which we imagine were this man's. They were all incredibly skinny but had sweet eyes. Winter '05

Parisian Street Lamps

Even the lamps in Paris have character and elegance. I miss Europe's beauty dearly, especially being in a cemented city like Toronto. Spring '05

Zaanse Canals

I was at the second level of a windmill in the Zaanse Schans when I took a photo of this outhouse. It is no longer in use, but back in the day the Dutchables used to dump everything into their canals; it was cheap, non-smelly and with canals everywhere you look, it was definitely convenient. The scary part is that they porbably used that water to bathe, wash and cook. Spring '05
