Dear Photolookers, I'm going on a road trip to BC, I'll be away for two weeks posting photos whenever I can. I send you all photographic hugs, such as this one from the rainforest in Costa Rica. -adk
Wednesday afternoon Maja and I spent some time at the park, with blue skies and green grass surrounding us. It was time for a photo shoot. :) More shots from that day to come. June '07
Note: I figured out my colour problem. It's not with PS nor Photobucket. My apologies to both. It's actually with Firefox, if you open the same page with a photo in both Firefox and Safari you'll see the difference. For some reason Firefox sucks out the life out of colour photos.
The famous Tortuguero cat. You've seen her before but here's another shot with her pretty green eyes. Aug '06
HELP! I'm having trouble with saving my images from Photoshop CS3 to Photobucket. It seems that in the transfer the original colours are lost, they look dull. If anyone can help me, I will love you! -adk
Here's another two photos from the scavengerhunt. The clue for this one was "Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink. Is this the future?" Maja and I were sure that we had nailed it in the head with this one, but then we realized they were looking more for the polluted water type of photo. :) May '07
The photography hunt started and ended at the Drake Hotel. There we found this old fashioned photo booth. I highly recommend it, for $2 you get 4 really neat looking B&W photographs. May '07
This is another photo from the photo scavenger hunt. This was an open clue/theme: H2O. It won best overall photo, which is great because we took it in a bit of a rush about half an hour before we had to hand over our memory cards. Comes to show it's always worth to take that one last shot. May '07
Last Sunday, Maja and I participated in a photographic scavenger hunt around Toronto, it's called Shoot Experience. The theme was water, we received clues, 5 hours to collect photographs that answered the clues and then there were prices for the best photos. We managed to snatch two of them. This photo didn't win but I really liked it, especially now that I've played with it in PS, which wasn't allowed for the contest. May '07
Another shot from the bus stop in Cahuita, Costa Rica. The little girls you see were having a fun time interacting, the two on the left were local girls and the other two little Dutch travelers. Aug '06
With an unusual mix of Dutch and Costa Rican blood mixed in Mexico, I know not at the moment what nationality I am. However, I do know where I've lived: Mexico, Costa Rica, the Netherlands and Canada, where I now study dance and kinesiology... and one day, medicine.
