Narnia I

About two months ago I stumbled into a hidden forest which I believe is a piece of Narnia. Two days ago my lovely friend Julia and I went back to explore a bit further. We brought with us my Oma's fancy coats and our cameras. Dec '06

Ramiro's Surgery

When Ramiro (my aunt's cat) got his little surgery to disable his baby-making mechanisms, I got to watch. Here the vet is weighting him, the cat is hanging on his right side. May '06

Young Photographer

In the little village of Tortuguero we met these two girls who showed us their little puppies. They really wanted to take some pictures so Maja and I lent them our cameras. Here is Keisha preparing for her shot. You can see Hazel supervising from the boat. Aug '06

Conjugated Bathroom

This is a conjugated version of a set of photos I had already posted. After seeing them again a couple of days ago i decided to work on them a little bit and post them again. It is from the bathroom at my dad's accupuncture clinic in Xalapa, which he actually moved out of about a week ago. It was such an old house that they pipes and wires were all visible for when it was built it had none of these commodities. Dec '05

I dug up this photo of a Flying Papantla from my trip to Mexico last December. This one is from Tajin, Veracruz. I was playing with it on photoshop and by accident added radial blur and an audible "OOoo.." came out of me. I usually try not to distort photos too much so I'm not sure if this works. I thought I would post it and hear what you think. Dec '05

Birthday Blooms

I am 21 today, which is almost 30 in a way. Well, maybe not but it seems pretty older. These flowers,who live in my front yard, have survived some pretty cold days. I like to celebrate with flowers. I think we all secretly can't wait until the next time that we receive a bouquet of blooms. Dec '06

All Aboard?

I found a whole new way of enviromentally friendly travelling in the rainforest of Costa Rica. These leaf-cutter ants were collecting little leaves and then travelling about thirty meters to their huge ant colony, which I also photographed. Aug '06

Elevator Elevate

My cousin Diana and I on the elevator with a bunch of tourists at the hotel in Havana. It was in this trip that Diana also got infected with the mirror project virus. Lately the miror project website has been down, maybe they ran out of money to keep the site. Sadness. April '06
